2009-05-31 | 19.00 SOHO Appendix: Artistic Activsm and Knowledge Production
On this evening, one day after the official close of SOHO '09, three cultural workers who are each engaged in theorizing social conditions and political possibilities in combination with concrete activist efforts gather to discuss effects of the economic and political crisis and the opportunities of interventions that may not have existed for more than three decades.
With particular attention paid to the question of art as/and knowledge production the evening will be a time to step back from the immediate project work of SOHO and think broadly about the possibilities of political aesthetics in this critical moment of ours.
